Marshals receive a huge amount of appreciation from athletes either on race day or simply by comments posted on the website. check them out on Runnersworld.
What are the perks?
We always put on a great cooked breakfast after the race and of course food & drink throughout the event is available. You'll get a free event t-shirt and free entry to any allabouttriathlons event. This can be transferred to a friend as well.
How does this work?
Firstly we'll add you to our marshals list and then nearer the event date we'll send an email. Check your diary and let us know if you're available. Closer to the event date maps and instructions are sent out specifying times, locations and your specific responsibilities. We will be in close contact before and during the event, so there's no need to worry. We often require marshals to be onsite early but we won't expect you to hang around for long. Unless you want to hang around for cooked breakfast on the house.
